Further Implements the In-house Pipelines of the Medical Aesthetics Products, Enriches the Product Portfolio of Medical Aesthetics Platform
Medical device registration certificate has been issued by the National Medical Products Administration of the People’s Republic of China in relation to the medical skin care gel and medical skin repair gel developed by Meiyan KongJian Biotechnology (Jilin) Co., Ltd. of the Group.
The medical skin care gel and medical skin repair gel can be used for skin care or repair after optoelectronic, hydro lifting and other medical aesthetics treatments. The medical skin care gel can form a protective layer on the surface of the wound, and functions as a physical barrier. It can lower the rate of wound infection and inflammation and promote fast recovery of the wound, with the medical skin care gel being used immediately after the medical aesthetics treatment. The medical skin repair gel can be applied to allergic skin. In general, the skin is more sensitive in the short period (of around 7 days) after medical aesthetics treatment. The medical skin repair gel therefore helps to alleviate allergy symptoms so as to get the skin back to optimal condition sooner.
According to Frost & Sullivan, the market size of medical device dressing products in China has increased from approximately RMB230 million in 2016 to approximately RMB4.18 billion in 2020, representing a compound annual growth rate of approximately 105.7%. It is expected that the market size of the medical device dressing products will reach approximately RMB20.14 billion by 2025, with an expected compound annual growth rate of approximately 37% from 2020 to 2025.
