Care about Education: Sihuan donated 4 million yuan to build a beautiful Sihuan Hope Primary School
In 2012, Jilin Meihekou Municipal Government and Sihuan Pharmaceutical Group jointly invested 15 million yuan (including 4 million yuan invested by Sihuan Pharmaceutical Group in the name of Jilin Sihuan Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.) to build Jiefang Street Central School in Meihekou (Sihuan Hope Elementary School). The newly completed school covers an area of 46,800 square meters. With the beautiful and clean schoolyard and the modern and perfect teaching facilities, Sihuan not only creates a better growth environment for local children, but also contributes to the development of local education.
2013 Ya'an Earthquake: Sihuan donated 3 million yuan to support post-disaster reconstruction
On April 20, 2013, a 7.0-magnitude earthquake occurred in Ya'an City, Sichuan Province, causing numerous casualties and property losses. The local people suffered huge pain of losing their loved ones. After learning about the Ya'an earthquake, Che Fengsheng, Chairman of the Group, immediately decided to make donation to the disaster-hit area, and arranged for Jilin Sihuan Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. to express condolences to people in the disaster area on behalf of the Group, in order to put some humble efforts to the earthquake relief. On April 24, 2013, Jilin Sihuan Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., on behalf of the Group, donated 3 million yuan in cash to the Ya’an earthquake-stricken area through the Red Cross Society of Tonghua with the theme of "Showing Loving Hearts for Ya'an". The Red Cross Society of Tonghua stated that it would merit Sihuan's trust by using the donated funds to help people in the disaster area to carry out post-disaster reconstruction, and expressed its admiration and gratitude to Sihuan Pharmaceutical Group.
"7.21 Natural Disaster" in Beijing in 2012: Sihuan donated 2 million yuan to the disaster-hit area
On July 21, a squally shower broke people's peaceful life. Zhangwanzhen Village, Zhangjiawan Town, Tongzhou District, Beijing was seriously affected: most of the roads and houses in the village were flooded, and 370 families' houses were flooded. On July 28, the disaster relief donation ceremony whereby Beijing Sihuan Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. assisted Zhangjiawanzhen Village was held in the village committee of Zhangjiawanzhen Village. Leaders from Tongzhou District Committee and Government, from Zhangjiawan Town and from Zhangjiawanzhen Village, and villager representatives attended the donation ceremony. Mr. Meng Xianhui, Executive Director and Vice President of the Group, and Ms. Yuan Tingjun, Vice President of the Group and Chairman of Beijing Sihuan, on behalf of Mr. Che Fengsheng, Chairman of the Group, and all employees of Beijing Sihuan Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., donated RMB 2 million to express their deep affection and friendship with villagers of Zhangwanzhen Village and to support them to restore their homes.
In July 2012, Sihuan donated 100,000 yuan to the Red Cross Society of Tongzhou District, Beijing
After hearing the disaster report from An Zhijiang, Executive Vice President of the Red Cross Society of Tongzhou District, Beijing, in a conference room of the Red Cross Society, Beijing Sihuan Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. donated 100,000 yuan on the spot and stated that if necessary, it would select and send its workers to help repair the houses in the disaster-hit area. Go through thick and thin together. As a socially responsible company, Sihuan Pharmaceutical will continue to be concerned about public welfare and make its contribution to society.
2010 Yushu Earthquake: Sihuan donated supplies worth 100,000 yuan for disaster relief
After the earthquake in Yushu, Qinghai province in 2010, Sihuan actively showed care for people in the disaster-hit area and organized its staff to donate more than 100,000 yuan to the disaster area. Sihuan also provided drugs to the disaster area. It prayed for the people in Yushu, and expressed a vision to build a beautiful home jointly with them. The Red Cross Society of Hainan Province issued Sihuan with a plaque, which reads "The greatest love knows no boundary: Thanks for assistance to Yushu".
