Apart from our business and financial achievements, we were commended in FY2007 for excellence
in advanced technology and research capabilities. Our key subsidiary, Hainan Sihuan Pharmaceutical
Co. Ltd, was conferred the prestigious ‘2007 National New and High Tech Enterprise’ (2007年国家
重点高新技术企业) award which recognises achievement in advanced technology and research.
Our subsidiary, Beijing Sihuan Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd (‘Beijing Sihuan’), was given a second
research and development grant for RMB 1million from the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology
Commission (北京市科学技术委员会). The grant is for pre-clinical research on ‘Raw Medicine and
Injection Preparation of Coronary Heart Disease Treatment Drug-G20’. The successful conclusion of
the clinical research of G20 will enhance our competitive edge as a leader in the field of cardiocerebral
vascular drugs.
