Our Leadership Team

We have a streamlined organisational structure in which line management, functional experts, and the centres of excellence work in close collaboration to advance our business objectives.

Sihuan is helmed by experienced veterans with good connections and an in-depth knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry - the members of our board of directors were either trained as physicians or have a degree in economics and are highly experienced in business management.

To best position our business for continued success, the Executive Leadership Team is focused on the Group’s major financial, strategic and operational decisions, working to ensure that opportunities are rapidly seized and challenges immediately perceived and addressed. The Product Evaluation Committee, led by a member of the Chinese Academy of Science, advises the Executive Leadership Team on its strategic decisions.

Board of Directors

Dr Che Fengsheng Executive Chairman and CEO A co-founder of the Group, Dr Che has been the driving force behind the Sihuan’s growth and business expansion since its establishment in 2001. He currently oversees the Group’s overall management, strategic planning and business development. Prior to the Group’s founding, Dr Che had more than 13 years of experience as a medical doctor/neurologist and as a general manager of several large pharmaceutical companies. In addition to his Bachelor of Medicine (Aviation) and Master of Medicine (Neurology) degrees, he also holds an Executive Master of Business Administration from the China Europe International Business School.		Dr Guo Weicheng Executive Deputy Chairman and General Manager (Shenzhen Sihuan) A co-founder of the Group, Dr Guo has been instrumental to Sihuan’s growth and business expansion since its establishment in 2001. He is currently responsible for driving Sihuan’s sales and marketing efforts and also actively explores opportunities for mergers and acquisitions, as well as the acquisition of products rights. Being the general manager of Shenzhen Sihuan, he specialises in anti-biotic and other non-cadiocerebral vascular drugs. Prior to the Group’s founding, Dr Guo had more than four years of experience as a general surgeon and more than seven years of experience in the sales and marketing of pharmaceutical products. He holds a Bachelor of Medicine and a Master of Medicine (General Surgery) from China’s Fourth Military Medical University.

Mr Meng Xianhui Executive Director and Deputy General Manager (Corporate Communication) As the Group’s Executive Director and Deputy General Manager (Corporate Communication), Mr Meng is responsible for managing and supervising the Group’s corporate communication and public relationship. Prior to joining the Group, Mr Meng had more than four years of experience in the marketing, sales and distribution of pharmaceutical products. He was also formerly the department head in a state-owned enterprise for 10 years. Mr Meng holds an Executive Master of Business Administration from Peking University.		Dr Zhang Jionglong Non-Executive Director A Non-Executive Director of the Group, Dr Zhang is presently an Executive Director of Chongqing Hai Fu (Technology) Co., Ltd. where he is responsible for the strategic planning of the company’s business. He has had more than eight years of experience as a medical doctor in Shenzhen City People’s Hospital, one of the largest hospitals in Shenzhen. He holds a Graduate Certificate in Medical Treatment from Shantou Medical College, China.

Ms Gu Jin Deputy General Manager (Administration and Human Resources) As the head of the administration and human resources departments of the Group, Ms Gu helps to ensure that our employees are well-trained and motivated to excel in their work. Before joining the Group, she worked in the Shenzhen Tong Yun Group. She graduated in Finance from Lan Zhou Commerce College in the PRC in 1993 and holds an Executive Master of Business Administration from Peking University.		Ms Jia Zhongxin Chief Operating Officer Ms Jia, the Chief Operating Officer, is responsible for the daily operations of the Group. She has 16 years of experience in senior management positions in pharmaceutical companies in China. She is familiar with various aspects of the pharmaceutical industry, experienced in the areas of medical R&D, production management and marketing. A licensed senior pharmacist, Ms Jia graduated with a Bachelor of Pharmacy from Beijing Medical University (now Peking University Health Science Center) and holds an MBA from the University of South Australia.

Mr Choi Yiau Chong Chief Financial Officer Mr Choi is responsible for overseeing and managing the accounting and finance functions of the Group. Before joining the Group, he gained his finance and accounting experience at a public listed company and Deloitte & Touche. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (UK) and the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore. Mr Lin Guotan Deputy General Manager (Hainan Sihuan) Mr Lin is in charge of Hainan Sihuan Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., the Group’s key marketing arm. He started his career in the pharmaceutical industry in 1993 and joined Sihuan in 2005 as a Marketing Director. He was promoted to Deputy General Manager of Hainan Sihuan in 2007. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Tongji University.		Ms Yuan Tingjun General Manager (Production and Quality Control) Ms Yuan is responsible for overseeing the production and quality control functions of our Group. Before joining our Group, she held various senior management positions and was in charge of production management in several pharmaceutical companies. She has also had seven years of experience as a researcher during which she carried out research on Chinese medicines. Ms Yuan holds a Bachelor of Chemistry and a Master of Chemistry from Sichuan University.

Mr Huang Zhenhua General Manager (Shandong R&D Company) Mr Huang is responsible for overseeing the general operations of Shandong R&D Company, in particular, the R&D functions. He leads a team of more than 160 scientists and researchers. He has more than 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, especially in the field of research, and is the founder of several research institutes. Mr Huang is also an expert at designing and synthesising new drugs, and is a specialist in developing patents for core chemical compounds. Mr Huang graduated with a Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Engineering and a Master of Pharmaceutical Engineering from ShenYang Pharmaceutical University.		Dr Song Yuntao Chief Scientific Officer and Deputy General Manager (Shandong R&D Company) Dr Song is responsible for the design, R&D of new drugs at the Shandong R&D Company. Before joining Sihuan, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of Beijing Pharma Sciences Co., Ltd, a leading contract research organisation (CRO) in Beijing. Dr Song obtained his PhD in Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin at Madison in the USA and gained valuable R&D experience at top research institutes including Pfizer Inc.

Dr Huo Caixia Deputy Head of Research and Development Management Center (Beijing) Dr Huo is responsible for overseeing the R&D functions of the Group and is a member of the Group’s drug evaluation committee. Before she joined Sihuan, she was an assistant researcher at the Chemistry Research Institution of the Chinese Academy of Sciences between 2002 and 2004. Dr Huo invented and patented the technique of forming Cyclo-glycosyl Amino Acid and using it to prevent heavy metal poisoning. On top of that, she has many years of experience in R&D and is well-versed in all aspects of the R&D process. In addition to her Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Master of Pharmaceutical Sciences (Pharmaceutical Chemistry), she holds a Doctor of Pharmaceutical Sciences (Pharmaceutical Chemistry) from Peking University Health Science Center.		Mr Song Qiang Director of Asset Operations Mr Song is in charge of managing the Group’s asset operations. He comes with 20 years of experience in marketing and strategic management in the medical industry, and has held various senior management positions in pharmaceutical companies in China. Mr Song obtained a Bachelor of Medicine from Dalian Medical University.

Dr Zhang Limin International Business Director Dr Zhang is responsible for the Group’s international sales and marketing. He has more than 10 years of research and marketing experience relating to drugs, medical instruments and biological engineering, and is especially well-versed in the North America market. For Limin’s bios, he graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine (Aviation) and a Master of Aerospace Physiology from Fourth Military Medical University. In addition, he holds a Biological Master of Science and a Master of Science in Engineering (Ergonomic) from Wright State University in Ohio, USA.
